Year 10 photographers took shots of urban scenes around Kettering during a recent trip. The 30 students and four staff made the most of the recent warm weather to take high contrast photographs of the town’s features.
Mrs Pippa Smith said: ‘The weather was amazing, it was a new thing for us to go out on a Saturday which was really brilliant. We did a whole raft of lessons looking at how photographers interpret the urban landscape and so it was a really good opportunity for the students to put into practice what I had been talking to them about; angles and natural light. They used a combination of SLRs and point-and-shoot cameras and achieved some really nice results.’
