A Readathon is taking place over the next three weeks for all Year 7 students. Whilst encouraging you to read and review as many books as possible we are aiming to collect money for CLIC Sargent and The Roald Dahl Foundation.
Readathon is a national event which aims to raise a million pounds a year to help children and young people suffering from: cancer, Hodgkins disease, leukaemia, epilepsy, blood disorder or acquired brain injury.
Year 7 tutors will give out sponsor cards and bookmarks during tutor time this week. The sponsor cards are for immediate friends and family as we don't want you to get bogged down in looking for sponsors. We would like to collect in the cards and sponsor money by Friday Week 7.
As you finish a book log it in your card and if possible write a review on Access-It to tell your friends what you thought of the book. We will be presenting a prize to the student who reads and reviews the most books.
