Ofsted inspectors are visiting Brooke Weston on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Parents and guardians are invited to complete and return the official questionnaire by Thursday.
Every school in the country is inspected at least once every five years to promote improvement and to hold them to account. Her Majesty’s Inspectors provide an independent assessment of the quality and standard of education in schools and check whether students are achieving as well as they can.
The inspection team will be in Brooke Weston during normal working hours, visiting lessons, talking to the governors, management, staff and students. Ofsted will prepare a report on the school giving an overall grading from 1 (outstanding) to 4 (inadequate). There will also be further information on how effective the school is and recommendations on how it can improve further.
The report on Brooke Weston will be available to parents through a variety of sources. It will be published on the Ofsted website www.ofsted.gov.uk/reports and will also be sent to parents. Details will also appear on the Brooke Weston website and in our termly newsletter.
