Year 10 photography students took shots of the urban landscape as part of their OCR coursework. Mrs Smith and Mr Procter accompanied them on four evening visits to Kettering when they looked beyond the shop fronts and street views, instead concentrating on unusual angles and locations off the beaten track.
Mrs Smith said: 'We taught them to look beyond the proverbial snapshot, to really look at texture and light, all the traditional elements of photography. We chose Kettering because there is a variety in terms of building styles and eras. They really started telling a story about an urban landscape and came up with some amazing imagery.'
