Details of Brooke Weston's 2010 residential programme are out today. There are 11 trips to choose from covering destinations in Europe and America with something for everyone, thrill seekers, culture buffs or musicians.
There are four adventurous options, with active holidays in France, Austria, Spain and the UK on offer, each offering activities such as white water rafting, canoeing and other energetic activities. There are sight-seeing tours of historic Prague, Berlin, Madrid and the Black Forest while the delights of Boston or New York might appeal to those who wish to cover more air miles. There is a specialist option of a music tour to Belgium which includes three evening concerts and a tour of a musical instrument factory.
The residentials are co-ordinated by a variety of reputable travel companies and each has been selected for the range of educational and cultural activities on offer. Prices range from £375 for a UK adventure break to £1,020 for a six day trip to Boston. Further details of each tour are available in the printed booklet or in the attached electronic file. To secure a place on any of the trips a deposit of either £75 or £150 is required.
Mr Willimott, who co-ordinates the residential week which runs from Monday 28 June 2010, said: 'These are really good value-for-money trips to a variety of destinations and they offer unparalleled opportunities for students to experience different countries and cultures.'
