Brooke Weston receptionist, Rhonda Fosbrook has raised more than £200 for the Teenage Cancer Trust after completing a 10k run around London. She, along with her daughters, Courtney and Tara, finished the race in 70 minutes. Groundsman Paul Twamley also ran the event in 65 minutes and is pictured just behind Rhonda and her daughters.
The route started at Hyde Park Corner and took in landmarks such as Big Ben and the London Eye before finishing at Whitehall. In preparation for the race Rhonda also took part in a four kilometre charity run a month ago. She is now collecting her sponsor money, so can all those who pledged cash please hand it in as soon as possible.
Rhonda said: 'It was the first time I had entered this race. Paul talked me into entering, then Tara and Courtney, both former Brooke Weston students, decided they would like to join in too. I trained a little for it, perhaps not as much as I should have done, but I did it in a much better time than I thought I would. You just get carried away with all of the support you get along the route. I had a brilliant time and thanks to everyone who supported me. Hopefully I will do it again next year.'
