Brooke Weston welcomed hundreds of prospective students and their parents to Brooke Weston on Saturday. The Year 6 students undertook an assessment test where results are collated and places randomly assigned to ensure that Brooke Weston takes a proportional representation of students of all ability levels.
Principal Miss Stringer and staff were on hand to ensure that visitors were put at their ease while the Parents in Partnership team served home-made cakes and refreshments raising more than £400 which will be ploughed back into Brooke Weston to benefit students.
Miss Stringer said: 'It's gratifying to have so many young people who want to come to Brooke Weston and I'd like to thank the staff and the Parents in Partnership who made sure that the day ran as smoothly as possible.'
