The annual Christmas celebrations at Brooke Weston have been completed in fine style with festive food, Christmas markets and the annual disco marking the end of a busy term.
The restaurant staff kept everyone well fed with turkey and trimmings while students from Year 10 set up a variety of stalls for the Christmas market that took place outside the Weston Theatre. Once students had browsed the handmade keyrings, soft toys, jewellery, raffle prizes and other goodies they were then able to go to the Christmas disco.
The lower school enjoyed the Christmas events on Tuesday of week eight while the upper school had their turn the following day. Funds raised from the Christmas market will be presented to Mr Brian Cox. He and his wife June run The Educational Project charity which provides aid in the Gambia and the couple attended both days of the Christmas market to chat to students and look at some of the fund-raising ideas in action.
