For an amazing fifth year running 100% of students at Brooke Weston have achieved five or more good GCSE passes. Nearly a third of all exams taken were awarded at the highest grades A*/A and the average point score and value added measurements have all improved on last year's figures.
A* and A grades were up by 5% with 30% of all exams being marked at the top grades. There was also a significant measurable increase in performance from students of all abilities. Many are celebrating after achieving more than ten A* or A grade GCSEs in addition to the GNVQ qualification which is worth an equivalent of four more GCSEs.
Principal, Trish Stringer said: 'This has been a truly exceptional set of results. The statistics show an improved performance on last year's figures and the fact that all 184 students in the year group are leaving with five or more good GCSEs demonstrates not only their effort and commitment but the exceptional dedication of staff from all departments. I am absolutely delighted with these stunning results.'
