Brooke Weston is celebrating a stunning set of A Level results with a 100 per cent pass rate and nearly half of all exams awarded an A or a B grade. Many students achieved three or more Grade A passes, with two going on to study at Cambridge while the rest are heading for other prestigious universities in the UK and Ireland. The Maths department has particular cause for celebration as 76 per cent of those taking A Level Maths achieved the highest grades with 14 students gaining As and 12 gaining B grades.
Principal, Trish Stringer said: 'The major cause for celebration is not only the 100 per cent pass rate that students have achieved, but the fact that 46 per cent of all exams were awarded an A or B grade. This is exceptional and shows the high standards achieved by students across the board. We have also had some outstanding individual performances, not to mention the stunning statistics from the Maths department. I am absolutely delighted with these results which reflect the hard work and commitment of both the students and staff here at Brooke Weston.'
