A contingent of gifted and talented students went on a fact-finding trip to Wadham College, Oxford. The Year 10 students, along with teachers Mr Lloyd-Jones and Ms Korthals took part in a number of activities during the day which was aimed at giving students an insight into life at a typical Oxbridge College.
Mr Lloyd-Jones said 'We did a tour of the city and colleges in the morning and then in the afternoon we split into science, humanities and music groups to do lab experiments, debating and percussive instrumentation respectively. The day ended with a group debrief on the College lawn and I think everybody enjoyed it as well as learning about university and the types of people who go there.'
