For students at Brooke Weston the finishing line is in sight after months of training for a 10km race. The students are running in London on Sunday 6th July and so far have raised over £5,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The money has been raised through a mufti day and talent show at College as well as at a party organised by the students. The group of Sixth Formers and staff have been in dedicated training for the past few weeks even running six miles into College in the morning to boost their fitness.
Principal, Trish Stringer said: 'We're so proud of this dedicated group of students and staff. The effort that they have put in over the past few months has been incredible.'
