Year 9 students found out more about NHS careers when they visited an information roadshow recently. The event, at Leicester Racecourse, featured stands showcasing all aspects of the NHS. Medical staff were on hand to give advice and guidance and there was information about specialisms including radiotherapy and cardiology and related agencies including the Ambulance Service and the Army.
The 14 students were accompanied by Miss Juckes and Mr Bebb. He said: ‘They went off around the stands to find out more information and it was really useful and interesting. This trip was part of the CEIAG (careers) strand of science. The students were impeccably behaved and great ambassadors for the school.’
