Sixth Form students were encouraged to think about the bigger issues in life as part of a project led by local Christian organisation CROPS. The Breathe project gets students to listen to mp3 presentations on 12 different topics related to themselves, the community and spirituality. The event showed students what the Christian viewpoint on these issues is, but it also encouraged the students to think about their own responses.
The event was led by Matt Wild from CROPS in Peterborough. He said: ‘This is a spiritual development resource that goes through some of the questions on life, encouraging students to be self reflective, thinking about who they are, their relationship and connection to other people and the impact of other people on their lives. It is also about how we impact on the planet and finally there are questions about spirituality and God. All of the Year 12 students are taking part and they are responding in a variety of ways.’
