Congratulations to our Year 10 students who have successfully been awarded certificates in this year’s Biology Challenge competition. The test consists of two 30-minute papers that gauge students’ knowledge of flora, fauna and the natural world. It is not purely based on curriculum studies but also takes into account wider knowledge they may have gained through watching nature programmes or carrying out extended reading.
Five Brooke Weston students received the silver certificate and a further 14 were awarded the bronze certificate.
Congratulations to Jan Mazur, Romy Neale, Szymon Skolarcyzk, Lillian Williams and Bethan Lewis on their silvers and Yousef Shariatzadeh, Robbie Gray, Beth Booth, Amie Wooton, Lydia Pouncey, Ambertessa Lincoln, Charlee Broad, Peter Sammons, John Robbins, James Walton, Zoe Bezzina, Artjom Zemcugov, Karim Fairclough and Shehan Retnasingham who all received the bronze level award.
