Year 9 student Caitlin Eades is running a 5k race to raise money for Cancer Research UK in memory of her uncle. Caitlin and her cousins have signed up for the Pretty Muddy 5k run and obstacle course in Leicestershire on 17th May.
She said: ‘I do training for it most days. I have a Just Giving page but some people find it confusing or just want to donate the old fashioned way, so I also have some sponsor sheets as well. If people want to support me then they can stop me around school or come along to my tutor room, Thomas More, in Citizenship. My goal was to raise £100 but I have already raised more than that so I am now aiming for £150 to £200. I am the youngest in our group of nine who are doing the race. We are called Tony’s Angels in memory of my uncle who died in January.’
