To celebrate Dickens Week, which is taking place in assembly and tutor times, the library have staged a display of genuine Victorian artefacts. The items, on loan from the Manor House Museum, Kettering, comprise household objects, clothes and toys. They are arranged around the library desk and students are welcome to examine them in detail. If you are not sure what they were used for then each has a printed description, or ask one of the library staff.
Mr Duguid is co-ordinating Dickens Week and members of staff have been reading excerpts from his work in assembly. There is a whole display to accompany the theme and novels from this great British author are available to borrow from the library.
