Students, staff, parents and the community who use the Brooke Weston app will notice an optimised level of service and reliability as we have moved to a new provider.
The app, which is free and downloadable, is a way of keeping in touch with school news, information and bulletins on the move. It is available for both smart and android phones and, although the new app will be very similar to the old one, users will find the technology is more reliable and faster than the previous version, which launched more than 18 months ago.
Vice Principal Mark Willimott said: ‘Many people find the app useful as a point of reference as there is such a range of information available including news, photo galleries, Ofsted reports and prospectuses as well as data such as bus routes and menus from the restaurant. Parents can email in or report an absence via the app and we can send out instant announcements about snow closures or parents’ evenings. The original version proved very popular and the updated one will offer the same features but in a more stable format and from a different provider. If you already have the app you will need to delete the current one before searching for and downloading “Brooke Weston 2.0” on your App store.'
