Sixth Formers Tyler Harris (Year 13) and Thomas Brogden (Year 12) had the exciting opportunity to debate Scottish independence with a student in Scotland. Their discussion was recorded for BBC radio and will be broadcast on BBC Radio Northampton tomorrow (Tuesday 18th March) at around 08:15.
Amongst other topics, they debated the economic and cultural impact that Scottish independence would have on Scotland, England and the UK as a whole. As both students have family connections to Scotland, and are hoping to study at Scottish universities, they felt the subject was very close to their hearts and really relished the chance to learn more about the issue from the Scottish perspective.
Tune in to BBC Radio Northampton tomorrow morning to listen to the discussion in full, or catch it on iPlayer if you miss the live broadcast.
