Year 13 business students learned about the marketing of some of the country’s best-loved brands when they visited Cadbury World in Birmingham. The students, who are taking an exam in marketing, had an hour-long talk about the company and its business strategy.
Business teacher Miss Kelly accompanied the 16 students. She said: ‘It was a very good topical talk and presentation aimed at the Key Stage 5 level. Students learned about the marketing mix, the four Ps; price, product, place and promotion. They have learned all the theory so this visit has now given them a much better grasp of how marketing works; it was a very rich learning experience.’
