Thanks to all those who contributed to, or took part in the recent events in aid of Sport Relief, that raised an impressive £1,479.
A total of 57 competitors took part in the Sport Relief run, with all completing one mile while others went for three and six mile distances around the grounds. Five dodgeball and nine football teams battled it out in tournaments. More than 20 people took part in a rowing challenge which was won by Year 9 student Josh Donnelly who completed a mile on the rowing machine in the fastest time of 6 minutes 23 seconds. Jennariece Robson won the poster competition and all the winners were announced during a recent assembly.
The events were organised by Miss Feeley who said: ‘I am extremely proud of the effort and support our students have shown towards helping others less fortunate than themselves, both those who participated and those that simply sponsored others.’
