Students put on a varied musical repertoire during our most recent concert. The show, that takes place at the end of each term, gives students a chance to perform in front of an audience in an informal setting, and proves very popular as it takes place over lunchtime and many students and staff members come along to listen.
Acts included Teigan Wilkins and Hope Beasley who performed a duet of ‘A Thousand Miles’ by Vanessa Carlton. Others tackled classic piano compositions by Einaudi as well as solo singing and instrumental pieces. Miss Duguid said: ‘This is about the third end-of-term concert that we have run and it is useful as students gain valuable experience performing for an audience.’
Events taking place this term include the Partnership Dance Showcase that takes place this Thursday in the Weston Theatre and the BW Factor talent show on Saturday 31st March. Tickets for both shows are now available from the Finance Office.
