If you receive notification from the Local Authority that your child has been unsuccessful in obtaining a place at Brooke Weston Academy, you are entitled to appeal that decision. If you wish to appeal, please download the appeal form and send the completed form in to Mrs Claire Allsopp at the Academy address given on the form and at the bottom of this page. If you are unable to access the document please contact the Academy Reception on 01536 396366 between 09:00 and 16:00 (Monday to Friday) and you will be able to give details of your name and address so that we can send the Appeals Form to you.

These concern applications for all year groups and those in Year 7 for the September 2019. Applications for 'in year moves' need to be applied for through the local authority. The below link will take you to the to the application forms as well as give you more information about the process. Please be aware that places are allocated according to space in the requested year group.
Please also note, we do not hold waiting lists for students in Years, 7 (Jan onwards of that academic year), 8,9,10 & 11. Applications can be submitted through the process explained above.
These concern applications for all year groups and those in Year 7 for the September 2019. Appeals for in-year applications will be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged. Appellants do not have the right to a second appeal in respect of the Academy for the same academic year unless, in exceptional circumstances, the Academy has accepted a second application from the appellant because of a significant and material change in the circumstances of the parent, child or Academy but the applicant is still refused admission. Appellants may apply for a place in the Academy in respect of a later academic year and have a further right of appeal if that application is unsuccessful.
