A trip has been arranged for Year 11 Geography students to visit Hunstanton in Norfolk. This is to enable the students to broaden their knowledge of the geographical issues surrounding coastal protection and the coastal ecosystems which they are studying this term. The data collected on this trip will form a vital component of the fieldwork experience required for the students to answer the questions that they will face in their third GCSE paper in the summer.
The cost of the trip will be £11.00; this will cover the transport. Students will require a packed lunch (no glass bottles please) or sufficient money to purchase food and drink. Students may wear sensible non uniform appropriate for practical field work on the beach & sand dunes. All students should wear a water proof coat, warm layers & sensible shoes.
Staff and students will travel by coach leaving at 09:00 returning at approximately 17:45. Parents are therefore requested to arrange transport for their son/daughter from Brooke Weston.
